Virginia Free Farm is a nonprofit homestead farm at Spotted Pig Holler in Kents Store — located in a county that has double the state average of food insecurity per household.
Run by founder Amy Rose Foll and her husband, Derek, the Farm provides produce and eggs to people in need in order to combat this disparity. By partnering with several other community organizations — from Meals on Wheels and Feed More to Food Not Bombs — they’ve created a network that ensures food delivery to those with limited access to transportation,
