Shalom Farms is a nonprofit food access organization in Richmond, working together to build healthy communities by growing and sharing healthy food. They envision a healthier community, where everyone has equitable access to nourishing food and meaningful opportunities to grow, choose, cook and enjoy fresh produce.
Each year, they distribute over half a million servings of fresh produce through their network of programs and partnerships in communities where access to healthy food is limited. This produce is grown on their two farms with the help of thousands of dedicated volunteers each year.
Their Food Access and Nutrition Education Programs include their Grown to Go Mobile Market, Prescription Produce Plan, and Nutrition Distribution Network.

They welcome you to learn more about their organization on their website, or on Facebook and Instagram @ShalomFarms.

Shalom Farms will be featured at WNRN presents Dead Air III at The National in Richmond on Friday, January 21st.
