The Rivanna Conservation Alliance is a non-profit based in Charlottesville working to conserve the Rivanna River and its tributaries through water quality monitoring, restoration, education, and advocacy.

If you are concerned about trash and plastics in our waterways, or just looking for a way to give back to our community, they invite you to join them for the 2nd annual Rivanna River Round-Up community watershed cleanup. This event will be held on Saturday, September 25th, and will include guided cleanups both on land and in the water. You can even register your own cleanup to receive supplies and support.

Registration takes place through their website at rivannariver.org.
