David Dillehunt is the host of The Localmotive. He joined WNRN in September 2006, first as DJ for the Saturday 3-6 shift and the Friday 7-10 shift shortly after. In the summer of 2007, he substituted for then-host Tim Davis, ultimately taking over hosting duties in late September. He is also a founding member of Charlottesville-based indie rock group, Butterfly Vendetta. One of the perks of hosting the all local show is getting the chance to meet a variety of very talented musicians, right from our backyard. In the past year, David has interviewed and showcased more than a dozen diverse groups, ranging from Baltimore, Maryland to Richmond, to right here in Charlottesville
