Decade of Difference features the Eagles. The Eagles formed in LA in 1971. Their self titled release from 1972 launched them onto the nation scene with 3 top 40 hits. Each successive album, Desperado, On the Border, and One of These Nights gave them several singles making it into the top 20. Released in late 1976, Hotel California placed The Eagles in iconic status. Hotel California is one of the best selling albums of all time. Here is a live version of the first single, “New Kid in Town”, found on the reissue of Hotel California.

After Hotel California, the Eagles recorded one more album before taking a hiatus. In 1979, The Long Run was released. This single was issued in early 1980. “I Can’t Tell You Why” is last new material from the Eagles until they reunited in 1994.
