Decade of Difference features Paul Weller. The Jam emerged in the late 1970s along side many punk and new wave bands. Paul Weller was nicknamed “The Mod Father” since The Jam help spur the mod revival. The Jam was active from 1977 to 1982, creating 18 top 40s hits in the UK. The second single from All Mod Cons was “Down in the Tube Station at Midnight.”

After the break up The Jam, Paul Weller re-emerged with The Style Council and a focus on blue-eyed soul. They released Introducing the Style Council in 1983, following it quickly in 1984 with Cafe Bleu. With the success of the first single from this album, “My Ever Changing Moods” the US album was renamed to match the single. This song continues to be Weller’s most successful song in the US. It reached 29 on the Billboard chart. WNRN played the hit song for Paul Weller’s The Style Council, “My Ever Changing Moods.”
