Dance in the moonlight on the rooftop deck at Havana ’59 in Richmond on Wednesday night for a special evening of Salsa. Complimentary lessons start at 8PM with open dancing from 9 until midnight.

On Thursday night, watch the sunset at Sunsets at Carter Mountain at Carter Mountain Orchard, one of the best spots for a view of the  greater Charlottesville area.  Josh Mayo provides musical entertainment.  Wine, food and those tasty apple cider donuts are available for purchase.

If creepy outdoor theatre is your thing, head to Wintergreen for nonprofit Wolfbane Productions’ version of THE DARK OF THE MOON presented in  association with the Devil’s Backbone Brewing Company. This story, based on the Ballad of Barbara Allen, is a love story about a girl and her witch boy lover featuring a live folk/bluegrass band.  This is creepy, folksy good fun.

If you know of a cool event coming up in the WNRN listening area, tell me about it at mary@wnrn.org and help me make a WNRN culture connection.

Best wishes,
