This is the last weekend to go Bare at nonprofit Richmond Triangle Players. Bare, is  a sung-through story that parallels Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, depicting a group of Catholic boarding school seniors as they struggle with finding their individual identities in a constraining world.

Experience a bare mile of Jefferson Park Avenue for family friendly Bike Walk Play Day on Saturday where patrons are invited to bring bikes, hula-hoops or skates. Organized activities, like bike decorating and trash bowling, will be offered by community partners.

You can go barefoot in Westover Park in Harrisonburg on Saturday night for the final night of Movies Under the Stars. This week’s film, The Hunger Games is a futuristic survival story starring Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson.

If you know of a cool event coming up in the WNRN listening area, tell me about it at mary@wnrn.org. For more information on these and other cool events go to worn.org.

See you out and about!
